Main Line Health Laboratories (MLHL) has developed its own regulatory compliance program which is consistent with the Main Line Health System (MLHS) Compliance Plan, but is specifically focused on the compliance
issues relevant to clinical laboratories as described in the “Office of Inspector General’s Compliance Program Guidance for
Laboratories.
The MLHL Compliance Program adds to the MLHS Compliance Program such elements as are necessary to ensure that MLHL conducts
its activities in a manner consistent with relevant federal and state laws and regulations governing the operation of clinical
laboratories.
The Main Line Health System has appointed a Laboratory Compliance Officer, who is responsible for overseeing and monitoring
the implementation of the MLHL Compliance Program. The Laboratory Compliance Officer works with the MLHS Corporate Compliance
Office, appropriate members of MLHL management, and the MLHL Compliance Committee, to develop a MLHL Compliance Work plan
to guide implementation of the MLHL Compliance Program.
The elements of the MLHL Compliance Program also include The MLHL Code of Conduct, employee education and training, monitoring,
and investigation and remediation.
